Refund policy

We want you to love your shoes. If something isn't right, this policy explains how to return or exchange your order. It should be read with our Shipping Policy, Cancellation Policy and Payment Policy.
1. Return window
You can return most items within 30 days of delivery for a refund or an exchange, as long as they meet the conditions below. Requests made more than 30 days after delivery cannot be accepted.
2. Conditions for returns
To be eligible, items must be:
- Unworn and unused, apart from trying them on indoors on a clean, soft surface
- In their original condition, with all tags attached
- In the original shoe box or packaging, with the shoe box placed inside a shipping carton or bag (please don't tape or write on the shoe box itself)
- Free of odors, stains, dirt, pet hair and signs of wear
We may refuse or partially refund returns that show wear, damage or missing parts that were not caused by us.
3. Items we cannot accept back
For hygiene and safety reasons, the following cannot be returned unless they arrive defective or damaged:
- Socks and other hosiery
- Insoles that have been used or removed from their packaging
- Gift cards
- Final sale items and clearance items that were marked "final sale" at purchase
4. How to return an item
- Email us at hello@walkeasyshoes.com within 30 days of delivery.
- Include your order number, the name on the order, the item(s) you want to return and the reason. Tell us if you want a refund or an exchange.
- We will reply with return instructions and the return address. Please do not send items back before we reply, because returns we don't recognize may be delayed.
- Pack the item securely and ship it with tracking. Keep your tracking number until your refund is complete.
5. Return shipping costs
- If the return is because the item arrived defective, damaged or incorrect, or because of our error, we will cover the return shipping cost and send you a prepaid return label.
- For other returns (for example, wrong size or change of mind), you are responsible for the cost of return shipping, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Returns are sent to the address we give you in our reply. Please don't send them to our business address on file unless we tell you to.
6. Refunds
When we receive and inspect your return, we will email you to confirm the result. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of our approval. Your bank or card issuer may need several more business days to show the credit. We refund the price of the item and any taxes paid. We do not refund the original shipping fee unless the return is due to our error.
7. Exchanges
If you need a different size or color, email us and we'll tell you whether it is in stock. The fastest way to exchange is often to return the original pair for a refund and place a new order. We will confirm with you before shipping any replacement.
8. Damaged, defective or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged, defective or not what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos. We will arrange a replacement or a full refund, including the cost of return shipping if the item needs to come back.
9. Late or missing refunds
If you haven't received your refund after 10 business days, first check your bank account, then contact your card company, as it can take time to post. If you still have not received it, email us at hello@walkeasyshoes.com.

11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Return Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows when it last changed. The version in place when you place an order applies to that order.
